Metered taxi fares run around $4 to $12 (per trip, not p.p.) for most of the island.

Jacksonville (JAX) is the airport of choice.
Being on the North side of Jacksonville, it is a smooth 25/30 min. drive to Fernandina Beach, on I-95.

Taxi service from JAX to anywhere on Amelia Island is a flat $48.00 for a 6-passenger van.  If you give us your flight data we can match you up with others who fly in on the same flight / around the same time and save you some on taxi fares.
