PARKING
 Is in short supply in South Beach, and
can be expensive
- especially valet parking.
The Miami Beach Convention Center
Parking building, a 10 min. walk, would be your best
bet. The South Florida Auto Show is going on that same
weekend, but it does not open till 11 AM. On
this
map other parkings are indicated in yellow.
If you are flying in, we would recommend to take a
cab (abt $ 24) or a
shuttle ($ 16) instead of renting a car.
HOTELS
In South Beach you can find hotel rooms from $ 45 up to $
450 a night.
Many hotels are old,
and their rooms tend to be small. Some have been fixed up very nicely, some have not.
Any hotel between 5th and 20th Street (street
# from 500 to 2000) is no
more than a 10 min. stroll from the courts.
The blocks in South Beach are small, especially S.
of 15th Street.
Hotels that are one or two blocks inland (Collins
and Washington Ave) are obviously cheaper than those one Ocean Drive
itself.
We have contacted several hotels for special
rates, but find that they are not always better
than the deals you can find on sites like
Expedia.com ,
Travelocity.com
or
Tripadvisor.com.

Miami Beach is 13 %.
