Who: |
Teams
of two players (doubles). Beginners, amateurs, advanced
players and champions (real or self-styled) from all
over will play together in one big competition.
Men's, ladies or mixed teams. The more, the merrier.
You do not have to be a member of a petanque club,
league or federation. Minimum age: 14. |

Registration: $ 65 per player till
Sept 30, $ 80 per player after Oct 1.
Prize money: min. $ 5,000 - possibly
increased based on the number of participants. |

After two
successful open tournaments in Miami Beach in 2003 and
2005, it was high time for a repeat. Petanque's
popularity is steadily increasing in our country.
But players are scattered over all 50 states and do not have many opportunities to meet,
mingle and play. This
is your chance! We will play along the waterfront, in
downtown Fernandina Beach, a setting not unlike La
Ciotat in the South of France, where
petanque started in
1907.
Step 1:
Please register as soon as possible, so we know
how many are coming. And make your flight bookings if
applicable.
Several airlines
have just announced attractive fall fares. Lodging
options will be plentiful.
Step 2: Meanwhile we are making arrangements for the side events. And
will shortly give you lodging tips.
